Hire your business’ staff.

a. Your organization will likely be very organic in nature for a while—living and breathing with change until the business settles into a routine. This will be a period of learning for everyone and everyone will need to be flexible and responsive to the changes that take place as you learn each person’s strengths and weaknesses.

b. Post job announcements to your choice of job boards. This might include Craigslist and/or Indeed.com. Though it’s normally more expensive, we recommend indeed.com for the best results.

c. Select the applicants you wish to interview and interview them.

d. You may choose to test the applicants along with their interviews. We recommend you use the online Pre-Employment Personal Style II Test at resourceassociates.com for this.  This test normally takes a little over an hour to complete and gives you a good indication of the type of person who took it.  Results are immediate upon completion of the test.  At the time of this writing, tests cost $35.00 each to run.  They also have different tests available for different categories of business.

e. You may choose to obtain references. If so, get the information for each one and call them.
