Get your business’ FEIN, or now commonly referreed to as just, EIN. Register the business with the U. S. Government. Unless you decide to be a single proprietorship or partnership business in section 4 above and use your social security number(s) for this, you will need a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) for registering your business with the state and for obtaining your business bank account.
